Trout Bite is ON!

From our very first stop today, we had a steady trout bite. The fish took mud minnows under popping corks, artificial shrimp and curly tail jigs. Both bright and natural colors worked, it seems they were hitting just about anything you put in front of them. Most fish were in the 13-15″ range with a few 17″+. It’s great to see the trout fishery recovered from the cold winters of 2-3 years ago.
