Bull Redfish on a Cloudy Day
“Too hot, too cold, too sunny, too cloudy, too rainy, too dry…”
I’ve heard all the excuses in the book about why the fish won’t bite, and I’m sure I’ve uttered a few of them myself on occasion. Most of these are also used for so-called fisherman who are underprepared for the weather.
Well, we ignored all the excuses and went out yesterday on a cool cloudy day with unsettled weather that was far less “comfortable” than the beautiful days we’d had leading up to it. And guess what? The fish didn’t mind a bit.
Here’s a nice bull red drum to prove it. Look at the gorgeous color in that fish. If that doesn’t brighten up your cloudy day, I don’t know what will.
